It can control the pressure in a customer-owned pressure vessel. The dry N2-H2 mixtures can be measured with a highly accurate and precise H2 sensor.

A special calibration procedure ensures that the H2 sensor is highly accurate over the entire measurement range between 0 and 100 vol% hydrogen.

The gases are mixed using mass flow controllers and double-distilled water is supplied to an evaporator system via further mass flow controllers and then evaporated. The resulting gas-vapour mixture is supplied to the customer's pressure vessel via a heated line. A pressure control unit is located at the outlet of the pressure vessel. This can be used to control the pressure in the pressure vessel. This is possible for both dry gas and humidified gas, and even for pure water vapour.

The HovaCAL® N 622-SP-H2 is used to generate dry and humidified hydrogen gas mixtures, e.g. when developing hydrogen sensors for fuel cells.
