Gas humidification
Our devices are used wherever gases need to be precisely humidified:
HovaDEW - dew-point controlled gas humidifier
HovaDEW is an innovative method for humidifying process and calibration gases. To do this, water is dosed into an evaporator using a precision pump and mixed with a carrier gas stream.
A fast response dew point sensor is used to control the pump output to the desired humidity.
HovaDEW is particularly suitable for gas temperatures between 10 °C and 80 °C. The dew points can be up to 60 °C. Depending on the gas flow and dew point range, the HovaDEW process is configured to meet these requirements. We would be happy to advise you on this.
The scope of delivery of HovaDEW systems is customized and project-specific.
Advantages over conventional methods:
· Direct adjustment of the dew point or vapor concentration
· Independence from the total volume flow
· Fast adjustment of humidity
· Cost savings by eliminating mass flow controllers
HovaPOR – evaporator for water
Our special HovaPOR LF evaporator systems can also be operated without a carrier gas. Therefore, they are able to generate pure water vapor and are virtually restriction-free when operated with gas.
HovaPOR evaporator systems are used wherever pure water vapor or large quantities of water vapor are required (up to 12 kg/h).
Optionally, the evaporator systems are available with gas heaters to adjust the gas temperature up to 650 °C.
For the HovaPOR evaporator systems, we offer temperature control units, water dosing units and gas dosing units.
